Daily Trivia : Not all USB-C Connector is the same.

Even since iPhone is getting the USB-C fix, we are now finally enter into the one connector era.

However, did you know not all USB-C cable are make the same? Check out the video below to see why some cable are really expensive and why you shouldn’t buy those cheap unbranded cable.

Tips:

Look for USB-C 3.2/10Gbps cable if possible.
Look inside the connector, all the 24 pin should be present inside the connector, if some connector missing, you are getting just a dumb USB-C charger cable.
If you buying the older square USB A to C cable, check the USB-A connector as well, it should contain 9 pin (top 5 and bottom 4), if only 4 connector, you are getting a dumb USB charger cable.
If you must buy a cheap cable, get the shortest if possible to prevent wire/phone overheating due to the cheap cable using thin copper inside (resistance increase - longer cable)
