Jin Daily Trivia : Did you know Microsoft PM can’t stand Windows 11 too?

Recently, Microsoft Product Manager Merill Fernando made a lighthearted post on social media, joking that after being forced to use Windows for an hour, switching back to macOS felt like safely returning to Earth after leaving the planet.

He even attached a photo of Katy Perry kissing the ground after a space trip, adding a touch of drama to the comparison. So far, the post has racked up over 715,000 views and at least 11,000 likes.

Fernando also joked that if Steve Ballmer were still CEO, he might’ve been fired for saying something like this. But he added that Microsoft has long moved past its anti-Mac culture > nowadays, using a Mac as an employee isn’t seen as traitor anymore.

He also revealed that the MacBook he uses was actually issued by Microsoft as his work device. On top of that, he owns a Mac Studio, which he uses to run his podcast, newsletter, and open-source projects.
