Daily Jin Tech Trivia: Major Bug in iOS 26 Calculator Copy-Paste

After the launch of iOS 26, users quickly discovered a serious bug in the built-in Calculator app.

If you copy and paste a result from the Calculator (especially when the number is long and contains a decimal point) into another app, iOS will truncate the number—giving you an incorrect value compared to the original Calculator result.

The current workaround is to use the History feature and copy the result from there. This ensures iOS 26 won’t truncate your data.

Apple is already aware of the issue and will release a fix as soon as possible.
