Google just dropped a massive upgrade — Gemini’s new “Deep Research” can now dig through your Gmail, Drive, and Chat to fetch insights from your private Workspace data. Yep, it can read your emails, slides, sheets, and PDFs, then cross-reference everything with public web info and internal team chats to deliver personalized mega-reports.

You can even export the results as a Google Doc or have Gemini turn them into a podcast. Market analysis, brainstorming recaps, competitor reports — all automatically summarized and neatly organized. No more hunting for those “hidden gems” buried deep in your Drive.

Basically, a much more generalize NotebookLM for daily work.

The only downside? It’s desktop-only for now (mobile support “coming soon”).
